Katie and Jules will be rocking the Other Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival. The Tings will hit the stage as second headliners to Bloc Party on Friday 26th June. If last year is anything to go by the crowd is going to be massive, so get down the front early! Fingers crossed for sunshine... xox

Ibiza Rocks!!

Katie and Jules are the latest additions to the Ibiza Rocks line-up, joining the likes of Friendly Fires, MGMT, Soulwax, Groove Armada, Dizzee Rascal and The Kooks in the island's special season of rocking shows. We have some very exciting news to announce...

We are headed back to the states this Fall to tour with P!nk!

Rescheduled Brixton date

The gig at Brixton Academy on 6th March that was unfortunately pulled due to electricity problems in the area has been rescheduled for Friday 22nd May. Original tickets remain valid, so hopefully you can still make it - Katie and Jules promise to put on a cracking show to make up for the initial show not going ahead. We Walk was officially released today on ltd edition 12" vinyl. Each copy has been individually trodden on and decorated with a footprint, thanks to the band's friends in Salford. The vinyl is backed with a double groove cut of Fruit Machine remixes and is available to buy exclusively online here. Strictly limited so be quick! The next single from The Ting Tings We Walk is coming on Feb 23rd. It'll be available on limited hand/foot-artworked 12" vinyl through this online store. It's pretty neat, because not only is the vinyl double groove, each copy has been individually trodden on and left with a painted footprint! There are only 600 available so pre-order right away.

The double groove cut of the vinyl features Fruit Machine (Dave Spoon Televised Mix) and Fruit Machine (Bimbo Jones Remix). All tracks are available to download now.

Hello everybody,

We would love some of your input and creativity for our next UK tour in Feb/March.

If you could film yourself drawing, reading, dancing, doing your own kind of performance art, be it simple or complicated, beautiful or eccentric, something YOU find interesting or artistic - we would love to put some of your work into the visuals behind us for our shows.

As some of you may know we have always been interested in audience participation and art. When we first started touring as a band we got the audience to draw on 100 blank 7" sleeves in four different city's. They looked amazing.

Anyway, upload your ideas onto youtube and message us the link through our myspace. We will spend the following weeks looking at them ALL and seeing which ones work best for the show. We will message you back on myspace if we want to use them with further details. Myself and Jules are doing this ourselves so we promise to watch them all. And to credit you at the end of the show every night! We look forward to seeing whats in your heads!

Try to film it in the best quality you can so we can project it onto a big backdrop without the image breaking up....maybe upload a lower quality version on youtube so it wont take you ages to upload. ...we can always message you after we have seen it to get a better quality version from you.

oh yeah, maybe keep it to no more than a few minutes so we can get through it all!

Last night we found out that The Ting Tings are up for not one, but TWO Brit Awards! The band have been nominated in the British Breakthrough Artist category, as well as the Mastercard British Album category. GO KATIE AND JULES! All at Camp Tings are ecstatic about the news and thank you all for your support over the past year and a bit. The British Breakthrough Artist winner will be chosen by Radio 1 listeners so your assistance with voting will be called on as soon as we have details. The live awards show will take place on 18th February at 8pm (ITV). For more details go to the Brits website.

Back in the beginning, Katie and Jules released a 7" of Fruit Machine which was only available through 4 shows. At each gig the fans were invited to get creative with a selection of art tools on a wall canvas, built entirely from blank record sleeves. Each sleeve was taken down at the end of the night and used to house a copy of Fruit Machine that would go on the sale at the next date. These became the Records of Salford, Berlin, London and New York.

For the band one of the most interesting observations was just how different each canvas would be from the next, and the willingness the crowd showed to get involved. You can see the designs for yourself on the website that was created, and those of you that took part can zoom in to find your own contribution content in the knowledge that it now belongs to a fan in a different country.

Unbeknown to most, all of this was captured on camera and used to create a mini-documentary, which features as bonus material on the deluxe edition of We Started Nothing. If any of you own one of the 7" copies we’d love you to post a picture and let us know which gig you got it from. And similarly, if you recognise it as your own, tell us who you are!

Tune into Radio 1's Breakfast Show with Chris Moyles tomorrow morning to hear Katie and Jules performing Fairytale of New York and Santa Baby. It's going to be pure festive goodness! And later on tomorrow the band will be popping in to the Radio 2 studios to perform another couple of tracks on Chris Evans' show. That one airs between 6-7pm.

Also, a quick heads up for NYE - check out Jools Holland's Hootenanny on BBC2 as The Tings will be playing Shut Up, TNMN and Great DJ.

We Started Nothing, the deluxe edition, is out NOW! The CD/DVD package consists of all the original album tracks but has added extras in the form of all the original album tracks but has added extras in the form of official videos, acoustic versions of the single tracks, making of's and documentary footage from the band's early gigs.
