Really like your album, I saw your performance on TV at the Lowlands festival in the Netherlands. I think you music is great. Music isn't about making as much complicated noises as you can, It about making just the right noise :). The Ting tings are just that! Simple and energetic popmusic without pretents, I hope you come to the Netherlands soon for another live gig.
My son will be skipping on stage with the Ting Tings today with 2 of his team mates! Some of the best pop music has simple structure. Great lyrics cool tunes that you can sing along to and dance to. Thats pop music you knob. Too much 'creative' music is self indulgent crap. You are the sort of person who was into prog rock in the seventies wasn't any good unless it was 10 minutes long and demonstrated the abilities of the guitarist for a 4 minute guitar solo and the drummer to bash the crap out of all of his skins in some ridiculous solo.
Ting tings are a breath of fresh air in an otherwise turgid music world.
Ihatethetingtings - Before you decide to slate someone on their own website, maybe you should take some time out to check grammar and spelling. I'd start with the difference between your and you're and work from there (or their or they're, can you tell the difference?). The Ting Tings are refreshingly different to hear in this current climate of poor grade music, and I for one will be getting tickets for the London gigs in October. Keep up the good work guys!
Well, your certainly the music geniuses arent you. Repeating a simple sentencing that a 5 year old says, "thats not my name", over a simple drum beat. Very creative, one in a million. You sum up the problem with music on the radio and tv nowadays, you dont have to be talented to be a musician anymore, you cant sing, your lyrics are shit, your beats are simple and one dimmensional, but still you make it to number 1, but then again so did bob the builder and u deserve about as much respect as him.
