Katie und Jules freuen sich laut Medienbericht total über ihre Grammy-Nominierung, wissen aber nicht so ganz, wie sie mit dem roten-Teppich-Erfolg umgehen sollen:
Jules fühlt sich schon jetzt als Sieger: “I think we’ve won by being nominated. It’s kind of humbling really.”
Katie weiß allerdings nie, was sie anziehen soll, wenn The Ting Tings über den roten Teppich laufen müssen: "I love performing on stage and always associate stage and the studio with performance and I can do that so fearlessly, but I can’t get the idea of the red carpet as a performance. I never know what to wear. I always end up looking like I’m going to a Christening."
Jules fügt hinzu: "Us, Hollywood, dressing up, how’s this gonna work? We just got to find that balance — enjoying it, learning from it, and maybe getting a song out of it."
Die Grammy Awards werden am Sonntag verliehen. Die Ting Tings werden auf jeden Fall in Los Angeles vor Ort sein! Wir drücken die Daumen!
